What are you currently working on?

Currently, I am keeping busy with my non-profit Resilient We Rise Coalition as well as with school. I'm in the process of getting my Masters Degree in Public Administration at CSUN Tseng College!

What's been inspiring you recently?

Most recently I have been inspired by the people I serve in the unhoused community which has inspired my non-profit.

Tell us a story from your childhood that illuminates who you are as an artist.

My first memory of my experience in theater is of a school production of Snow White I was a part of when I was seven. I was Snow White but I also somehow memorized everyone else's lines and blocking and would correct them during rehearsals. All of the adults in the process found it hilarious.

Who are or were your theatrical heroes?

Oh goodness, who ISN'T my theatrical hero?! Bonnie Milligan has been a hero of mine since I saw her in "Head Over Heels" on Broadway. What a STAR!

What kind of theatre excites you?

Any production that is fast-paced, story-packed, and diverse without tokenizing excites me.

Outside of a theatre, what's your favorite hot spot in Orange County?

There's this restaurant called Green China in Orange that serves the BEST Chinese food.

What's the craziest thing you have ever needed to do for theatre?

The craziest thing I've ever needed to do for theatre was work with a PA on covering her track while she then went on in place of the lead actress, all within 10 minutes before the show started.

What surprises you the most about your role in the theatre community?

As a Stage Manager, I have learned that no matter how prepared I think I am, I still haven't prepared for the weirdly specific situation that is going to take place as soon as I tell myself that everything is under control.

What advice do you have for theatre artists just starting out in Orange County?

The advice I would give artists just starting out in Orange County is constantly check in with yourself mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Make sure you are taking care of yourself.

Go ahead, promote your things...
