Aung Min

Director

Aung Khine Min, also known as Min, is an up-and-coming director based in LA County and Orange County. Min's journey in the world of directing began at Cal State Fullerton, where he graduated with an emphasis in directing, laying the foundation for his career in the entertainment industry. One of Min's notable achievements was his recognition in the 2019 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) finals. This prestigious honor marked a significant milestones in his early career, showcasing his talent and dedication to the art of directing. Since his graduation, Min has been actively contributing to the vibrant theater scene in Orange County. He has became a resident artist at The Wayward Artist in 2022, a testament to his commitment to the local theater arts community. In addition to his work as a director, Min also works as a stage manager, demonstrating his versatility and deep involvement in all aspects of theater production.

Some of his stage manager credits include; "God of Carnage" at The Wayward Artist, "Kvetcher in the Wry" at OC Centric, "Toxic Avenger" at The Wayward Artist, "Queer Dance Collaborative" at The Wayward Artist, and others.

His directing credits include; In The Heights" (AD) at Cypress Community College, "Toxic Avenger" (AD) at The Wayward Artist, and more. Min recently made a directorial debut at The Wayward Artist with the production of "Yellow Face". "Yellow Face" marked the beginning of Min's directorial journey, and Min is excited for more opportunities and challenges in his directing career.
