What are you currently working on? I am the Executive Director of a new non-profit theatre & dance studio that just opened in Orange in August 2024. We have a range of classes for kids ages 1-18, and are even starting adult programming- plus we have big production plans! I'm excited to be doing my dream job and serving a mission that supports high quality performing arts experiences for ALL!
What’s been inspiring you recently? Choreography! At Platinum I direct and choreograph all shows and I've recently been so excited to lean into my dance roots and be choreographing for all ages again!
Who are or were your theatrical heroes? Growing up, it was Sutton Foster- and honestly, she's still up there on my list! I'm extra drawn to performers who appear in multiple spaces- theatre, film, music, tv, directing, etc. Versatile artists who create, share and follow dreams are always heroes to me.
What kind of theatre excites you? Anything with dancing, sparkly costumes, bold performers, and a creative set. I'm a musical theatre girly to my core and I love a big spectacle.
Outside of a theatre, what’s your favorite hot spot in Orange County? Disney - specifically to watch the shows, parades, or fireworks (I told you I like a spectacle...)
