What are you currently working on?

Providing marketing/branding and photography services to artists and theatres alike.

What's been inspiring you recently?

British Theatre marketing. They're creativity is always so engaging and makes productions more accessible around the world.

Tell us a story from your childhood that illuminates who you are as an artist.

When I was little, there was a theatre group called the Brown Bag Players. Sometimes they would let children up on stage to participate in the show. I was enchanted with the idea of becoming part of the magic even in some little way.

What kind of theatre excites you?

Dramatic Theatre, anything moving. If I cry at any point, from the beauty or emotion of a scene, I'm happy

Samantha Bark

Outside of a theatre, what's your favorite hot spot in Orange County?

The Den in Santa Ana, I love the vibe.

What surprises you the most about your role in the theatre community?

That I keep coming back to it, whether as a marketer, patron, photographer, or student. Theatre has always lingered. I never thought that my Business Degree and love of photography would lead me back here and that it would be of use to the community.
