What’s been inspiring you recently?
The closeness and supportiveness of the OC theatre community. I love that I can go to any venue in Orange County and run into people I know either on stage or in the audience, all with the same passion

Tell us a story from your childhood that illuminates who you are as an artist?
My parents sent me to theatre camp when I was nine years old to help me overcome my shyness, not imagining that I would still be performing 40+ years later

Who are or were your theatrical heroes?
Ruth Draper. If you are an actor and have never heard of her or her work, stop everything you are doing and google her now!

What kind of theatre excites you?
All of it! Musical comedies, cutting edge dramas, classics— any piece where the audience is truly engaged.

Outside of a theatre, what’s your favorite hot spot in Orange County?
Anywhere with a view of the ocean.
