What are you currently working on?

I’m always dabbling in something artistic. Whether it’s for theater, a friend, or the home. . . I HAVE to be doing something creative at all times!

What's been inspiring you recently?

I have been so inspired by seeing what innovative ideas can be done in a Pandemic world.

Who are or were your theatrical heroes?

Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters are among my favorite performers. Sunday in the Park with George is my all time favorite show which the two of them did together.

Tell us a story from your childhood that illuminates who you are as an artist.

My mom signed me up for dance classes at the very young age of 3. No lie - I promise. Fifteen minutes of ballet, fifteen minutes of tap, fifteen minutes of tumbling, and fifteen minutes of coloring. I was hooked. I never stopped dancing. My parents enjoyed musical theater and took my younger sister and I to many live performances during our childhood. Theater was simply a part of my life. I didn’t know anything else. Live theater was a joy for me then and still as prominent today.

Outside of a theatre, what's your favorite hot spot in Orange County?

The restaurant Reunion Kitchen + Drink in Anaheim.

What kind of theatre excites you?

I enjoy theater that moves me emotionally. It can be a play, a musical, a dance, a song- anything that makes me cry, think, smile, and laugh.

What surprises you the most about your role in the theatre community?

My role in theater continues to evolve. I love performing, working backstage, front of house, stage managing, and being in the audience.

What advice do you have for theatre artists just starting out in Orange County?

My advice to theater artists just starting out is to be genuinely kind to everyone you meet. Stay positive and don't let the negative, gossipy, jealous people bring you into their corner.
