Westminster Community Playhouse (WCP) is bringing a whimsical touch of romance and comedy to its stage with Neil Simon’s “Fools.” The lesser-known gem by the legendary “king of comedy” follows Leon Tolchinsky, an idealistic young schoolteacher who arrives in a remote Ukrainian village only to discover that its townspeople are cursed with chronic foolishness. 


His task seems simple: educate Sophia, the enchanting young woman he quickly falls in love with, and break the spell that has lasted 200 years. But as Leon soon learns, lifting the curse is far more complicated than he ever imagined – especially when love and laughter collide....
