What's Hitting the Stage in August

Updated: Aug 21, 2025

Looking for a night out that inspires, delights, and surprises?  Orange County’s stages are alive this August with a rich lineup of must-see performances. Spring Awakening at Chance Theater pulses with youthful rebellion and raw emotion. Get swept away by rhythm at the Curtis Theatre with An Evening of Latin Jazz featuring Louie Cruz Beltran, or witness new stories come to life at the 6th Annual Page to Stage Playwrights Festival. Over at Laguna Playhouse, Honky Tonk Angels promises boot-stompin’ fun and powerhouse vocals. And don’t miss the family-friendly Symphony in the Cities at Musco Center—an outdoor evening of beautiful music under the stars.

September keeps the spotlight burning bright with the beloved musical Annie at Rose Center Theater, sure to charm audiences of all ages, and Neil Simon’s fast-paced comedy Fools at Westminster Community Playhouse, where love and lunacy collide.
