What's Hitting the Stage in September

Theater lovers, get ready—Orange County’s stages are packed with must-see productions this fall!  From timeless classics to bold new works, there’s something for everyone. Laugh out loud with Neil Simon’s Fools at Westminster Community Playhouse or the satirical LAGUNATICS: Tour de Farce at No Square Theatre. Step into history with Eleanor’s Story: An American Girl in Hitler’s Germany at Curtis Theatre, or dive into timely questions with What the Constitution Means to Me at Chance Theater. For musical fans, don’t miss Annie at Rose Center Theater, Little Shop of Horrors at Friends of Newport Theatre Arts Center, or the Tony-winning A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at Laguna Playhouse. Drama takes center stage with August: Osage County from STAGEStheatre, Shakespeare’s Macbeth at The Larking House, and the inventive Centennial Project by Electric Company Theatre. About this post, and how to participate:

  • A new Program Insert is posted by the first Monday of each month.

  • Participating organizations must print and include the most current Program Insert inside their selected show programs

  • All organizations are limited to promoting a maximum of two of their shows that have performances during the current month. It is to their discretion which shows are included in the insert.

  • If an organization does not have a show running during the current month, then they may promote one upcoming show.

  • Producers must understand that failure to include Program Inserts in their selected show programs may disqualify their organization from participating in the future.

  • Participating organizations must be a current OC Theatre Guild Organizational Member in good standing.
