What type of member are you?

We want to connect theatre makers, artists and storytellers with the resources they've asked for.

This list was created through the requests and suggestions made by OCTG members. We're always looking for more articles, videos, recorded webinars, podcasts, etc. If you have a suggestion or request, please fill out the form.

 

Any company or service listed below is not inherently endorsed by OC Theatre Guild or any of its representatives and members.

Ticketing/Money Services

  • Book Tix (link) "BookTix is the ultimate, endorsed, no cost ticket system for schools, theaters, drama clubs and dance schools looking to sell tickets online." Basic services are free to use, but packages can be upgraded for a fee.

  • Venmo (link) Albeit, not a ticketing service, it is an efficient and quick way to receive payment from your audience. Venmo does not offer specific services to nonprofits.

  • Give Lively (link) "A fundraising technology company that offers their products to nonprofits for free. [...] Philanthropists created Give Lively as a way to “help usher nonprofits into a digital age by providing the, easy-to-use, best-in-class technology at no cost"

Streaming Services

  • Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) (link) "Open Broadcaster Software is a free and open-source cross-platform streaming and recording program built with Qt and maintained by the OBS Project. As of 2016, the software is now referred to as OBS Studio. There are versions of OBS Studio available for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux distributions."

  • Streamlabs (link) "Streamlabs is a live streaming software that integrates Open Broadcaster Software with viewer interactions, chat management, and tip donations. Streamlabs distributes their user's content over platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live."

  • Streaming Video Providers (link) A streaming and video hosting service with various pricing packages.

Premieres on Social Media

  • 'Premiering' a video allows the user to upload the video ahead of time and create an event link that can be advertised to your followers.
