What's Hitting the Stage in December

🎄✨ Celebrate the Season with December Theatre Across Orange County! ✨🎭

The holidays have officially arrived, and OC stages are bursting with music, magic, and merry mischief. Whether you’re looking for heartwarming tradition, family-friendly fun, or a fresh twist on classic tales, December’s theatre lineup has something for everyone.

Kick off the season with sparkling vocal talent at ACTC’s Christmas Cabaret, or put your detective skills to the test at The Murder Mystery at The Murder Mystery at Cabrillo Playhouse. If musicals are your holiday go-to, you won’t want to miss Scrooge! The Musical at Chance Theater or the dazzling Snow White Christmas at Laguna Playhouse.

For cultural celebration and breathtaking artistry, Campana Sobre Campana: Christmas in Mexico at Musco Center fills the stage with vibrant music and dance. Writers and theatre enthusiasts can enjoy fresh, original work at The Playwright’s Intensives at The Larking House.

Prefer your classics? It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play takes the stage at both Newport Theatre Arts Center and STAGEStheatre, while A Christmas Carol returns to South Coast Repertory to remind us why it remains the ultimate holiday tradition. Families will love The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at No Square Theatre and the swashbuckling holiday adventure Robin Hood & the White Arrow: The Holiday Feast of Stephen at Rose Center Theater.

Round out the month with beautiful seasonal storytelling at Holiday Voices at Westminster Community Playhouse.

From comedies to classics, musicals to mysteries, December is the perfect time to bundle up, gather your loved ones, and experience the magic of live theatre in the Greater Orange County area.✨ See a show, make a memory, and let the season shine. ✨
